Braxton, who revealed to attendees that she dropped out of Bowie State University to have her first child, said she completed her education online. The music mogul has recounted the many hours she spent juggling classes while touring overseas with her famous Braxton clan. Despite crazy tour dates, countless countries, and a demanding touring schedule, she persevered to earn her degree. Trina added that although she has walked the red carpets and reached the pinnacle of musical success, “this success is only temporary, but your education is something that no one can ever take away from you.”
According to Braxton, who graduated online from the University of Phoenix, starting this much-needed sorority is nothing short of an “incredible achievement.” As a co-host of “Sister Circle”, a member of the longtime reality show “Braxton Family Values” and a mother of two, Trina knows the demands of work, family and education. She has leaned on her sisters throughout her journey, and now thanks to Sigma Chi Psi, other women will have a fellowship to lean on. Sigma Chi Psi is emerging as a favorite among A-list celebrities, as reality TV star Kenya Moore, who was touched by their mission, calls it an “incredible company with so much potential”.
