The Astros showed respect to one of the city’s legends on Sunday, asking Scarface to throw the ceremonial first pitch before the game against the Mariners.

Scarface, aka Brad Jordan, took the field wearing an Astros jersey with the number 1 and “Scarface” emblazoned on the back. He also wore an Astros cap and looked like a real ball player with his field glove on.

Geto Boys cohort Willie D took to his buddy’s Instagram page and asked to see the video from the pitch. While there doesn’t appear to be a video available online, we can attest to that, the left-hander’s throw was perfectly fine. He won’t replace Framber Valdez as a southpaw in the rotation, but it certainly didn’t go as badly as the others (looking at you, Derrick Lewis).

Jordan also looked genuinely impressed when he shook hands with Astros manager Dusty Baker ahead of the game.
